"Peanuts! Get your peanuts!"
The vendor’s voice bounces off the concrete and metal of the stadium,
becoming part of the music of a baseball afternoon.
Not everyone listens.
Not everyone answers.
But the call goes out anyway — offered freely into the warm noise of the crowd.
Stoicism
You are not responsible for who hears you, who sees you, who answers your call.
You are responsible only for making the offering honestly.
Do your work.
Sing your song.
Call out into the world — and release the rest.
