Remember that first time you went to a big league game? Walking with other expectant fans up to the gate, showing your ticket, walking through the tunnel with the field gradually opening up before you, the perfect symmetry of the whole field, guys in real unis warming up, the smells of fresh mown grass, dampened dirt, beer and dogs…And most especially, the deep awareness and unfiltered joy that rose up naturally within you. The game teaches us that we may bring that gratitude to our present moments.
