Almost all of these descriptions are things my brother and I did as young kids. We lived the game and would make up all kinds of scenarios and situations with just the two of us - or if we were lucky a third with our neighbor Tom. We learned the game by playing, throwing and watching games on TV. The announcers on the NBC Game of the Week ( Joe and Tony) were great because they explained situations ( ex don’t make the first or third out at third base). Great memories of a time before launch angle and spin rate.
