Nice read, pretty funny. Im sure there's that kind of element in most sports. Here in Indiana there is this phenomenon known as "Pit Lizards" which is the racing equivalent. I guess everyone has their own thing. Too bad there isn't such a thing as card show groupies, or girls that have a thing for guys that are really good at fantasy football. Maybe in the next life......

Groupies, yeah. Same for all pro sports — most anything famous: movie stars, musicians, etc. Bull Durham is kind of about one of them.
