Absolutely! All of it.

All the advertising overlays and replays brought to you by .. . Ugh!

I joke with my son that we will soon be at the point, “This pitch brought to you by .. “

It is hard to watch, and my enthusiasm definitely waning. All sports. Hockey is slowly turning into looking like B league soccer. 🙄

Yep. I especially dislike those live interviews during the game.

You’re speaking for many of us. Corporate enshitification manipulates and pollutes anything for a buck. Fuckin’ leeches who can’t fathom beauty, grace, tradition, or any organic natural goodness. Thanks for your eloquence.

Beautiful piece. I can't stand it when they do these in game interviews, especially of the coaches. Leave these damn people alone and let us watch the game.

Terrific read. I enjoyed this article, in particular, so much. You hit so many good points, as you often do with your writing. I love your page and all that you do with your 'Baseball Meditations' and more. You bring out the 'old school' feeling of what baseball was and still can be today if people allow it into their lives.

I'm letting you know that I had to mention you in my Impressed or Unimpressed (Episode 48) today on Baseball Fan Perspective. Here's the link to the article...https://baseballfanperspective.substack.com/p/impressed-or-unimpressed-episode-788

Thanks again for your unique perspectives. Keep it up.

I appreciated this read especially as I call games on the radio. It is safe to say this applies to so many aspects of our lives. Every moment is on camera so therefore we are not in the moment. We are simply keeping the camera and the microphone on for an often invisible audience. It is hard to find silence these days without unplugging everything or having to completely leave environments to go to near exile. And sometimes saying nothing is saying everything. We need more humility to realize our voice is not the only music in the room. Nor should it be. Thanks for your insight.
